Getuk Cassava Recipes

Getuk is traditional food from Indonesia. Getuk can made from cassava, yam, and tuber. Getuk also be given food coloring. This time i will share about how to make Getuk Cassava. First, please prepare ingredients and the seasoning :

• 1 Kg casssava
• Sugar to taste
• Salt to taste
• Grated young coconut taste
• Food coloring

Step by step make getuk cassava :

• Boiled sugar and food coloring
• Boiled or steamed cassava until cooked
• While still hot cassava immediately crushed, give most of grated coconut. When it is smooth pour the sugar solution while stirring slowly until well blended to become dense and smooth dough
• Cut into pieces according to taste then put in to dish
• Getuk is ready be served :)
